🧪✨ THE DANCER’S LAB ✨🧪
Where technique is refined and purpose is formed.
This summer, we’re inviting dancers into something deeper than just another class.
The Dancer’s Lab is a 6-week technique experience designed for dancers ages 10–18 who want to grow with intention. Instead of rushing through choreography, we slow things down to strengthen foundations, refine movement, and build confident, disciplined dancers from the ground up.
But this isn’t just about technique.
Each class intentionally connects dance training with biblical truths—reminding students that discipline, perseverance, humility, and excellence are not just dance skills… they’re life skills rooted in God’s Word.
🩰 What dancers will gain:
Stronger technique and better alignment
Increased strength, control, and confidence
Challenges to better their dance skills and performance
A deeper understanding of why technique matters
Encouragement to grow in character and faith
A training environment that values both excellence and purpose

Monday Class: Fusion
Dance Techniques and Combinations
Description: Fusion is where all your favorite dance styles come together—with technique at the center of it all.
This class blends multiple styles into one dynamic training experience, focusing on technique that actually translates everywhere you dance. Instead of being stuck at the barre or drilling the same move on repeat, dancers get to move, groove, and apply technique in fun, challenging combinations that make it click.
Fusion keeps dancers on their toes (literally). It’s fast-paced, high-energy, and designed to push dancers while keeping things exciting and fresh every week.
In Fusion, dancers will:
✨ Strengthen technique that works across all styles
✨ Build control, confidence, and clean movement
✨ Learn combos that bring technique to life
✨ Be challenged without being bored
✨ Have fun while getting better (yes, both!)
Thursday Class: ERAMix
Explore styles through out the years!
Description: ERAMix is your passport through dance history — no time machine required. 🕺✨
Each week, dancers will step into a new era of dance, exploring styles they may have never tried before. From the sharp rhythms of the Jazz Age to the groove of disco, the rise of hip-hop, and today’s contemporary movement, this class is all about discovery, versatility, and having fun while learning something new.
Don’t worry — you don’t need to be an expert in every style. This class is about trying, learning, laughing, and growing. Dancers will be challenged to move differently, think creatively, and expand their range — all in a supportive, upbeat environment.
We’ll explore styles from:
🎷 1920s – Jazz Age
🎸 1950s – Rock ’n’ Roll & Swing
🕺 1970s – Disco & Funk
📼 1980s – Pop & Early Hip-Hop
🎧 1990s – Contemporary & Hip-Hop Fusion
✨ Modern Era – Contemporary Today
In ERAMix, dancers will:
✨ Try new styles without pressure
✨ Build versatility and adaptability
✨ Gain confidence stepping outside their comfort zone
✨ Have a LOT of fun along the way
Bible Study: Faith through the Ages
A Study of God’s unchanging Truth
Throughout The Dancer’s Lab, students will take part in a short weekly Bible study called Faith Through the Ages. This devotional journey connects dance training with timeless biblical truths, reminding dancers that while styles, trends, and seasons change, God remains the same.
Each week highlights a different aspect of faith—such as discipline, identity, courage, and perseverance—and ties it directly to the training happening in class. Through Scripture, discussion, and reflection, dancers are encouraged to see their growth in technique as part of a bigger picture: developing character, faith, and purpose.
This study is designed to be meaningful, and encouraging, helping dancers understand that their movement, work ethic, and passion can all be used for the glory of God.
