Summer Dance Intensive | For Dancers 10-18 Years Old

Every life tells a story.
Through our choices, our movement, and our faith, we are constantly writing it.

Our Theme this year is: The Story I’ll Tell. SDI is a faith-centered summer dance intensive designed to help students grow both as dancers and as disciples. This week-long experience intentionally blends high-quality dance training with Bible teaching and discipleship, inviting students to reflect on the story God is writing through their lives—and the story they are choosing to tell.

What Is This Intensive About?

This intensive focuses on the idea that our lives are living testimonies. Just like dance tells a story through movement, our daily choices communicate what we believe and who we belong to.

Throughout the week, students will explore themes such as:

  • Identity in Christ

  • Choices and character

  • Hidden growth and perseverance

  • Influence and testimony

  • Living with purpose and intention

Each day builds on the next, helping dancers understand how God can use every chapter of their life for His glory.

What Students Will Experience

Students participating in The Story I’ll Tell will engage in:

  • Daily technique and choreography classes

  • Creative movement focused on storytelling and expression

  • Bible studies rooted in Scripture & personal reflection

  • Small-group discipleship and guided breakout sessions

  • Creative Worship Workshops

  • Theme parties at the end of each day! (a highlight each year!)

This intensive is designed to challenge students physically, spiritually, and creatively in a supportive and encouraging environment.

From August 3rd-6th, dancers aged 10-18+ are invited to join First Position for an amazing week packed with fun, faith, and fabulous moves! 💃🩰

💲 Cost: $100 per student

Each day brings a new adventure and themed fun:

Tie Dye Day: 🎨 “The brighter, the better—bring the color.” Wear your favorite TIE DIE outfits!

Grandparents Day: 👓 Vintage vibes only—channel your inner grandparent.” Come dressed like an oldie!

Wacky Wednesday: 🤪 “The weirder, the better. There are no rules today.” Don’t forget the hair, makeup and wacky clothes!

Blacklight Karaoke (Neon Day): 💥 “Glow up, grab the mic, and sing like no one’s watching.” Come in glow in the dark clothes!
