Get ready for amazing things ahead—we’ve added so many new classes and programs, and we’re about to enter our best and biggest season yet!

💛 Important SOTA Application Information

Welcome to the fourth year of our School of the Arts (SOTA) program! We’re excited about all God is doing—and this year is going to launch First Position into a whole new era of ministry.

💡 Please Note: Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Once your application is received, we will contact you to begin the formal review process. Accepted students will receive a welcome email and next steps to create their family account and access the parent portal.

📋 Ready to Apply? Here's What You Need to Know:

Before filling out your application, we recommend reviewing the 2026-2027 Class Schedule tab and gathering the following details:

👧 Lower School: Children’s Division (Ages 3-7) or Junior Division (Ages 8-12)

  • Choose from Level Classes: Beginner Ballet 1, 2, or 3 OR our fun variation styles (hip-hop and lyrical)

  • Level Students (all those in beginner ballet classes) participate in The Gathering: which includes Bible study, ballet training, and a performance variation.

  • Want more dancing? No problem! All our classes can be added on and there are multiple discounts for extra classes!

👩 Upper School Students: Youth Division (Ages 13–18)

Level Students applying for Level 1A or 1B/1C

  • New Students: May apply for Level 1A

  • Returning Students: Select the level provided in your placement email

  • Choose your 1 required variation (all levels are combined for variation classes)

  • Decide if you’d like to add a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th variation(additional cost)

Variation

Only want to take a variation class? No worries! Choose the variation (style) you want to take!

Options: Ballet, Jazz or Hip-Hop!

Once we receive your application, we’ll send a follow-up email with next steps. After completing those steps, you’ll hear from our SOTA Director regarding your acceptance status. If accepted, you’ll receive a WELCOME email with instructions to activate your Parent Portal and access the Payment Portal with all the details for the upcoming season!
