Between the gingerbread cookies and egg nog, we take intentional time to remember the reason for this season and it’s all about Jesus! Enjoy each tradition, and embrace each moment of this Christmas season all while remembering the One who was born to give us NEW LIFE!

Giving Tuesday 2025 | It’s ALMOST here!
Giving Tuesday is on December 2nd
Our Goal:
Our year end campaign focus is on Studio Build-Out Project! Our campaign is called “The Next Step Project”, where we aim to raise $15,000 toward building out the studio and finishing projects we have had to put on pause for the time being. Our financial goal is $15,000 to be raised by the end of the year. For Giving Tuesday specifically, we are working to raise at least $10,000 of that money from individual donors. In addition, we are working really hard to find 3 major donors who will give toward matching the gifts that are made during Giving Tuesday.
How You Can Participate:
Spread the Word: On Monday, December 1st…shoot out 10-15 messages to friends and family reminding them that TOMORROW is Giving Tuesday and ask if they’d be willing to give toward our cause!
Promote with Us: Post on social media and be ready to share with EVERYONE on December 2nd!
Encourage people to give: If you can encourage just one person to donate, you can help us reach our goal! Here are the options:
Giving ONE TIME donation (this can be $25, $50, or even $100!)
Becoming a monthly donor - this will also contribute to our numbers!
At least $200 as a one-time gift (which will qualify for our matching gift program)
Gifts of $200 or more will qualify to be a gift that is matched!
Giving Tuesday Pizza Party!

📍 At the Studio
We’re hosting a Pizza Party with Purpose — and you’re invited! Families, students, and supporters are encouraged to come ready to WORK and make a difference!
We’ll have tables set up where parents and students can send texts, emails, and Facebook messages to friends and family to encourage giving right on the spot!
🍕 Enjoy pizza, bring a dish to pass, and join the fun as we celebrate each donation with live updates throughout the night!

11:00-12:00pm | Opening Number Rehearsal (LEVEL STUDENTS ONLY)
12:00-12:30pm | Lunch Break - BRING A LUNCH
12:30-4:00pm | Production Rehearsal (LEVEL STUDENTS ONLY)
Christmas PJ Week!
That’s right! Our annual Christmas PJ Week is back! Ditch the dress code for the last week of SOTA classes before the Christmas Show and Christmas Break.
Please be sure PJs are modest (no shorts) or low cut tops. AND also prepare for some SNOWBALL HOCKEY! A beloved tradition in the FPDF family!
This is the last week of classes before the show and break, after the Christmas show all weekly classes will be done and we resume January 5th 2026.
We STILL will have KDC on the 19th of December!

Our December Raise the Barre master class is all about Christmas Musical Theatre Combo!
Jiggle ALL the Way for this amazing master class to celebrate the Christmas season and end 2025 with a bang! What could be better than a musical theatre combo?!
Perfect for dancers looking to improve their technique
Also great for adults and beginners who just want to get moving on the dance floor
No dance experience required—everyone is welcome!
We had MORE moms join our workshop that month than we had students! What a blast!
Christmas Show Week!
December 13th 2025 @ 2pm | Calvary Baptist Church
Dress Rehearsal on December 12th (schedule in Show Information page on Parent Portal)
Run Through Rehearsal is the DAY of the show at 9:00am (report time for dancers is 8:30am) This is ONLY for Level Students.
Report Time for ALL other dancers is 11:45am (must be in hair and make up).
All other information needed will be on the Show Information Tab on the Parent Portal & also in your Show Packet you received at the Parent Show Pick Up Week.

December Kids Dance Camp

Our December Kids Dance Camp: We are going to have a birthday party for JESUS! This KDC is filled with Christmas games, a bible lesson, dance class, craft and of course a BIRTHDAY CAKE for JESUS!
A dance experience packed with games, movement, and creativity
Designed for kids ages 3–9 to experience dance in a fun and Christ-centered way! While learning the truth of the Gospel & God’s Word!
Give your child a bright, joyful Friday afternoon and let them shine on the dance floor! 💖 Great way to invite friends!

We go on Christmas Break December 14th and resume classes on January 5th!

💃 Dance Revolution “Standout” Tour!
We are thrilled to announce the Dance Revolution “Standout” Tour happening January 30–February 1! This is a Christian dance convention that we attend every year, and it is truly an incredible experience for our dancers.
Registration Deadline is December 15th! All money must be in by this date!
Convention cost: $260–$270 per dancer
Additional costs: travel, hotel, and food fees

Baby Coming!
Just as a friendly reminder, Miss Talyn and her husband Alex are expecting the arrival of their first son, Wesley Graham this month! We are so excited to meet this bundle of joy!
With that being said, we ask that you refrain from reaching out to Talyn with any questions, emails or messages that are First Position related (she welcomes congrats and celebration messages!)
