Dance Revolution is a Christian dance convention but it’s SO much more than that! Come learn from some of the top in the industry that love Jesus and teach that in each class. Be challenged, encouraged, inspired. Performances ALL weekend long from their professional dance company, their faculty and more! You will be blown away!

Registration for this convention early bird is December 15th. We will be registering as a group by this date.

Fundraiser Opportunity

If you’re looking for ways to save money on your Dance Revolution ticket, this is it! Every ButterBraid pastry you sell will go directly toward your student’s ticket cost. These delicious treats practically sell themselves, making it an easy and fun way to earn your way to Dance Rev!

Payments

Payments must be made to First Position for the cost of the convention & $100 for lodging by December 15th . We can only register on their website through a dance studio, so we will be registering all the students. These fees are non refundable as we will not be able to get our money back if you decide you can’t attend.

Lodging

We plan to look into an AirBnB. We ideally want to get that booked as soon as possible. We will be looking at hotel options as well. Be sure to get your stuff in sooner rather that later! Cost of lodging could be more depending on the number of people. $100 is a benchmark so the rest of payment may be due after airbnb is booked.

Travel

Depending on how many dancers we have going and drivers, we will be car pooling to save on gas and splitting gas cost. This will all depend on how many come and what the gas prices are in January. Prices will be determined the week of. If we have a large enough group, renting a 15 passenger van may be the best option!

Food

We encourage you to bring food along with. We can bring coolers with food, or stop at a grocery store to get food once we get there. People are welcome to order food or stop anywhere they’d like. All food is on the individual. There are no food options at the venue.

Parents & Chaperones

Talyn & Alex Stansfield will be attending this event as well as Miss Aria and Miss Hanna. Parents are MORE than welcome to join! It’s $50 to observe and I’ll tell you it is worth it! It’s a great bonding opportunity but also know that there will be plenty of parental chaperoning. We do ask though that dancers 12 and under have a parent attend this event.

Departure & Arrival Times

We plan to leave from Harvestime Church Eau Claire parking lot. Please let us know if you need a ride or if you are able to drive. We will know more when we get closer of how many cars we will need. We plan to arrive at the lodging (airbnb or hotel) by 5pm to eat dinner and get ready.

We plan to depart from Wheeling IL (the hotel) at 5:00pm (at the latest) and head home. We should arrive at Harvestime around 10pm.

A separate email will be sent to students who are registered on what to bring, specific details when we get closer!
