Come and invite your friends! This is a trial class to see WHERE you fit into our programs, and learn more about First Position and what makes us who we are!
What to expect?
Come for a free dance class as a trial to experience First Position, learn about our different programs and have a blast meeting our teachers, learning some fun dance moves and studying the Bible together!
Age Breakdown + Parent Meeting
3-7 Year olds | Teacher: Miss Mikaya
8-13+ Year olds | Teacher: Miss Aria
Parent Meeting | with Talyn Stansfield (during this time we will talk about what First Position is, our vision, and our programs!)
Schedule
4:15-4:30pm - Check in
4:30-5:00pm - Students: Bible Study | Parents: will get a chance to meet the board & hear about our vision
5:00-5:45pm - Students: Dance Class | Parents: Talk through our programs & what sets us apart from other studios
What To Bring
Bible
Notebook + Pen or pencil
Water bottle
Moveable clothes + socks or dance shoes (if you have them!)
Day Of Information
Check In: Parents are expected to bring their student into the class space. If you are planning to drive yourself, than you do not need a parent. Check in with a First Position staff member and specific information will be given as to where to go.
Studio A: 3-7 will be with Miss Mikaya! Parents will be guided to the back area of the studio for an information meeting about First Position with our Board & Staff!
Studio B: 8-13+ will be with Miss Aria!
Check Out: After class is done at 5:45pm, students will be dismissed. Please check your student out before you leave!
After The Event, you will receive an email with different options for your student of ways they can jump into our summer programs and our fall SOTA program as well! We will have registration links and more information if needed!
Other information
Do parents HAVE to come to the Parent Meeting?
No, parents do not HAVE to attend the parent meeting but parents that DO attend the meeting will get either 10% off their first month tuition for our SOTA program, or get $10 off the summer mini-mester when they register!
