Date & Time: Daily | During Studio Hours
Location: First Position Dance Studio
Returning families from last spring—we still have your Unashamed T-shirts and DVDs! We apologize that these are getting to you so late. Unfortunately, we did not receive them in time, and we weren’t able to get them to families over the summer.
We will have a table set up in the lobby for you to pick them up.
If you participated in Unashamed, you can pick up your T-shirt and DVD at the studio this week!
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!

Location: First Position Dance Studio
We have the exciting opportunity to partner with Operation Christmas Child and fulfill The Great Commission by sharing the love of Jesus to children all over the world!
All you have to do is pick up a box, take it home, fill it with clothes, school supplies, personal care items, toys, games, a “WOW” item, and a personal note/photo, and bring it back to the studio. Please also include $10.00 for shipping and handling, as well as the printing of The Greatest Gift, (the 12-week gospel program), and a New Testament Bible, plus the training of the pastors and teachers!
National Collection Week is November 16-23, so we need your boxes turned in to the studio by November 2. We will then drop them off at Peace Church, the Central Drop-off Location in Eau Claire.
Thank you for sharing the love of Jesus with children and families all over the world!
Stop by the information table in the studio lobby, talk to Leanna, or email her at admin@firstpositiondanceco.com for more information.

🦃 THANKSGIVING BREAK 🥧 NO DANCE CLASSES 🚫
Date & Time: November 23rd-27th | During Studio Hours
Location: First Position Dance Studio
As we head into the holiday season, we want to remind all of our families that the studio and office will be closed the week of November 23–27, for Thanksgiving break.
We want to give our wonderful students, teachers, and staff some well-deserved time off to step away from their busy schedules, eat some great food, and enjoy the holiday with loved ones. Because our team will be completely unplugged to celebrate with their own families, we will reply to your emails when we return on Monday, November 30.
Thank you so much for your patience and support. We hope you all have a safe, relaxing, and wonderful Thanksgiving!
💰 GIVING TUESDAY 🗓️
Date & Time: December 1 | All day
Location: Online/First Position Dance Studio
First Position is participating in Giving Tuesday! This global event is our biggest 24-hour fundraising window of the year, and we are calling on all SOTA families, First Position families, and community members to help us spread the word like wildfire.
We are hosting an online giving opportunity to support our dancers, along with a promotional kick-off party right at the studio. The donation link will go live exactly 1 week prior to the event.
We need your help! Start gathering a list of 20+ friends, family members, neighbors, or teachers you can invite to donate on this special day.
Mark your calendars, get your contact lists ready, and let's rally together to smash our goal in a single day! More details and donation links will be coming soon. If you have any questions, email us at admin@firstpositiondanceco.com.
☃️ CHRISTMAS PJ DRESS-UP WEEK 🗓️
Date & Time: December 7-11 | Dance Classes
Location: First Position Dance Studio
Ditch your dance uniform and come dressed in your favorite Christmas PJs!
Christmas PJ Dress-up Week is seriously one of the best times of the year at the studio. There is nothing quite like trading in those dance uniforms for your absolute coziest, most festive Christmas pajamas. It’s such a fun, time-honored tradition that lets everyone loosen up, laugh, and kick off the Christmas season in style.
While you're picking out your favorite pair, just keep an eye on how they fit so you can still move across the floor safely. You'll want to make sure they are moveable, comfortable, and modest. Most teachers use this opportunity to take group photos, so definitely pick a pair that makes you feel great.
🍪 CHRISTMAS COOKIE WALK 📅
Date & Time: December 12 | 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Location: First Position Dance Studio
We are hosting a Christmas Cookie Walk as a fundraiser for First Position! First Position families will donate a variety of Christmas treats for the event, and community members can come, grab a box, and fill it with whatever treats they choose, to enjoy during the holiday season. Once they have filled their boxes, they will pay by the pound, and all proceeds will go toward the ministry of First Position.
What families should know: We are asking each SOTA family to make at least 3-4 dozen (or as much as you’d like) of a family-favorite Christmas treat— Ideas include cookies, fudge, bars, or truffles. Please clearly label if the treats contain nuts, eggs, or dairy, or if they are gluten-free, or vegan. Families are encouraged to give a name and short description of their treats to make them more enticing! Be creative! It could open a whole new world of delectable treats to patrons!
We will also need volunteers to help us set up, run registers, welcome guests, and tear down the event itself. We have created a Signup Genius List Here to help you quickly and easily see what is needed. Thank you for your participation in this new endeavor, and we hope it will be great fun and a huge success for all involved!
