Ahhh…to live in a world where there are Octobers.
This truly is my FAVORITE month of the year! I’m so ready to pull out my sweaters and ditch the shorts! For some this is where you start to dread the cold but let’s embrace the beautiful season we are stepping into…FALL!
It’s football and apple crisp, and pumpkin spice lattes and falling leaves. It’s a magical time of year and we can’t wait!
This month we got some awesome events and some reminders to keep in mind! We had a great first month and we are gearing for a second great one as well! Christmas show planning is in full force and we are excited to get to stage and share the Truth of the Gospel with all who come to hear!

Check-In & Check-Out Procedures
We want to take a moment to thank all of our families and students for doing such a wonderful job with our check-in and check-out process! Your consistency helps us keep every dancer safe and accounted for, and we’re so grateful for your partnership in this.
A few reminders as we continue the season:
✅ Check In Before Class – Every student must check in before entering the studio space.
✅ Check Out After Class – Be sure to check out before leaving so we know your dancer has safely gone home.
Lower School Students (ages 3–12): For safety, all dancers must be picked up inside the studio by a parent or guardian. They cannot walk out to vehicles on their own.
Upper School Students: Dancers are free to leave after class, but they must let someone (ideally their teacher) know before heading out so we are aware they have left.
Thank you for helping us keep the studio safe and running smoothly—we couldn’t do it without you!
Costume Deposit Reminder 🎭
A quick reminder that costume deposits are due October 1st. You may notice that your monthly bill looks a little higher than your regular tuition—this is because the deposit has been added to your Studio Director account.
For our new families, here’s how deposits work:
$50 for the first variation your child is in
$25 for each additional variation after that
👉 Please note: This is a combined total per family, not per student.
Once costumes have been ordered and everything is finalized, we’ll be sending out costume balance information!

🎄 Christmas Show Tickets On Sale October 1st! 🎟️
We’re thrilled to announce that Christmas Show tickets will be available starting October 1st!
$15 online (through the day before the show)
$20 at the door (day of the show)
When you purchase online, keep an eye on your email for a confirmation from “tututix”—that’s where your tickets will come from.
This year, we’re encouraging families and students to think intentionally about who to invite. We are challenging every dancer and family to invite 7 people who don’t yet know Jesus so they can experience the beauty of the show and hear the Gospel message.
✨ Imagine—your invitation could be the start of someone’s eternal story! Start preparing now, and if you’re able, consider buying a ticket as a Christmas gift for someone you want to bring.

🌸 Set Apart Conference
Ladies, this is your invitation! The Set Apart Conference is coming up soon, and we are so excited to welcome women from the Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and beyond. This is the perfect opportunity to invite friends from near and far to join you for a weekend of refreshment and renewal in Jesus.
In our busy lives, it’s so easy to keep pouring out without pausing to be filled. This conference is a chance to rest, replenish, and refresh your soul in the Lord alongside like-minded women.
✨ Moms—this is also a wonderful opportunity to bring your daughters. Be intentional about discipling them by spending this time together, sitting under truth-filled teaching, and drawing closer to Christ side by side.

Come learn an awesome and energetic combo from Miss Aria (newly Mrs. Parkins!)
Perfect for dancers looking to improve their technique
Also great for adults and beginners who just want to get moving on the dance floor
No dance experience required—everyone is welcome!

Hoffman Hills Trail Walk
Date & Time: Friday, October 18th | 9:00–11:00 AM

Join us for a refreshing fall morning at Hoffman Hills! This family-friendly trail walk is perfect for everyone—whether you prefer an easy, leisurely stroll or want to tackle some of the more challenging trails. At the top, we’ll enjoy warm apple cider and hot chocolate together.
After the walk, we’re considering hosting chili, cornbread, and board games back at the studio! We’d love to get a sense of interest, so if this sounds fun, please fill out our [Google form link]. If enough people are interested, we’ll plan for it!

🎬 Let’s Go to the Movies Dress-Up Week!
October 27th-31st
Lights, camera, action—it’s time to dress up like your favorite movie or book character! During Halloween week, we’re inviting all students to come to class in costume and have some fun bringing their favorite characters to life.
A few important reminders:
No scary or provocative costumes—we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.
Parents: Make sure your dancer can move freely and dance safely in their costume. No restricted costumes, please!
Let’s make class extra fun this week with creativity, laughter, and a little movie magic! ✨

💃 Save the Date: Dance Revolution “Standout” Tour!
We are thrilled to announce the Dance Revolution “Standout” Tour happening January 30–February 1! This is a Christian dance convention that we attend every year, and it is truly an incredible experience for our dancers.
We’re sharing the dates now so families can plan ahead:
Convention cost: $260–$270 per dancer
Additional costs: travel, hotel, and food fees
Just outside Chicago IL
This convention is open to dancers as young as 6 years old and is a fantastic opportunity for your dancer to:
Grow as a dancer and take classes with like-minded artists
Be spiritually encouraged and inspired through dance
Bond with fellow dancers from our studio during an unforgettable weekend
In the past, we’ve taken a group of about 10 dancers, and this year we’re hoping to bring 15 dancers! Parents are welcome to attend as well—there is a $50 observation fee for those who want to watch the sessions. It’s SO worth it to just watch even!
Mark your calendars now—this is one event your dancer will not want to miss!
