Welcome to SOTA 2025-2026!
Can you believe it?! We are already in the “ber” months! September is the gateway to the greatest time of the year…FALL! Christmas is great and a close second but fall just has all the things! And for those summer lovers…we definitely get our Indian summer sometime this month!
But September also means our new season kicks off and we are back in the studio! This year is going to fly and we are so blessed to have you along for the journey!
This season is extra special because we are bringing back the beloved Christmas show (we all missed it!) and we also are moving into our new studio! WOW! It’s crazy to be writing that as it’s been a goal/dream for a long time to have this space for us to use!
So buckle up and get ready for an incredible time! Welcome to SOTA 2025-2026!

Families! We have the opportunity to have a booth at the Downtown Fall Festival in Eau Claire and we are looking for people to help hand out fliers, candy and be a smiling face!

Raise the Barre
SEPTEMBER Monthly Master Class

Ages: 10-18 + Adults!
Our September Raise the Barre master class is all about jumps, leaps, and jetés!
Perfect for dancers looking to improve their technique
Also great for adults and beginners who just want to get moving on the dance floor
No dance experience required—everyone is welcome!
September Kids Dance Camp

👧 Ages: 3–9
Our September Kids Dance Camp is all about shining bright for Jesus!
A dance experience packed with games, movement, and creativity
Designed for kids ages 3–9 to experience dance in a fun and Christ-centered way! While learning the truth of the Gospel & God’s Word!
Give your child a bright, joyful Friday afternoon and let them shine on the dance floor! 💖 Great way to invite friends!
Father Daughter Dance 2025
Calling all Dads and Daughters! This event is for you! We did this back a few years ago and it was SUCH a success! The fathers and daughters both said they really loved being a part of this and having that special one-on-one time with their dads! We are doing it again!
This is a COMMUNITY event so invite dads and their girls!
When: September 21st from 4:30-6:30pm
Where: First Position Studio
Cost: $25 per father/daughter pair & $5 each additional daughter that attends.
Come for light refreshments, activities and a short dance lesson. Of course we will also be doing the cupid shuffle, and electric slide!

Hoffman Hills Trail Walk
Date & Time: Friday, October 18th | 9:00–11:00 AM
Location: Hoffman Hills, [https://www.travelwisconsin.com/birding/hoffman-hills-state-recreation-area-204270)
Join us for a refreshing fall morning at Hoffman Hills! This family-friendly trail walk is perfect for everyone—whether you prefer an easy, leisurely stroll or want to tackle some of the more challenging trails. At the top, we’ll enjoy warm apple cider and hot chocolate together.
After the walk, we’re considering hosting chili, cornbread, and board games back at the studio! We’d love to get a sense of interest, so if this sounds fun, please fill out our [Google form link]. If enough people are interested, we’ll plan for it!
Bring your family, invite friends, and take this chance to connect with our community while enjoying the beauty of the season. Everyone is welcome!
Set Apart Conference
Calling all the girls and mothers! Women in the Chippewa Valley!
First Position is hosting a girls and women’s conference this fall!
Dates: October 24th and 25th
Location: First Position Studio
Cost:
$65 per person ($55 early bird to October 1)
$130 for 2 (mother/daughter, sisters, friends..etc!) ($110 early bird to October 1)
Perfect for ages 10+ and adult women of all ages!
We will be doing a broadcast of Leslie Ludy’s Set Apart Conference from this summer! As well as live worship, refreshements, breakout sessions you’ll LOVE and lots of connecting and fellowship time!
