The simple yet impactful gesture of a high five encapsulates the power of human connection and encouragement. It transcends language barriers, fostering an immediate sense of camaraderie and support. Each high five shared creates a tangible moment of positivity, boosting morale and igniting a shared enthusiasm.
This same essence lies at the heart of our fundraising program aptly named High 5 Stewardship Program. This initiative draws inspiration from the universal gesture, channeling its energy into the realm of philanthropy.
By encouraging individuals to donate the equivalent of a high five – a small, accessible contribution – the program leverages the collective strength of many to create a substantial impact.
The High 5 program serves as a reminder that even the smallest gestures can catalyze significant change, echoing the notion that together, we can achieve great things.
We must bring in a 3rd of our revenue in donations A culture shift must take place to embrace fundraising and donations. Our families are the direct beneficiaries of our ministry, who better to share the passion and needs of the company!
First Position is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that by law must raise a certain percent of our income in donations.
As part of our culture and SOTA program, each family participating in our School of the Arts program is part of our High 5 Stewardship Campaign.
Disclaimer: Students WILL NOT be asked to leave the program if for whatever reason donations aren’t at a certain amount. We only ask that each family commit to being a part of this program in the way they feel led to.
