What is NTS?
NTS which stands for “Never the Same” is a one week discipleship training for girls 10-24 years old. NTS is set in the beginning of the summer & kicks off our summer programs. This program is designed to train students in how to take the daily walk of Jesus to the next level, to really start a growth plan that will be able to carry into their everyday lives.
The Backstory
In 2007, Talyn (our founder) had the privilege of being a part of a ministry that trained students 13-18 on how to share the Gospel. From age 13-21, Talyn was able to attend this training for two weeks and came back a different person. This experience not only gave her tangible tools to share her faith, develop deep convictions that she has carried into her adult life, and truly taught her to make her faith her own. Throughout high school, she was fortunate enough to be a part of multiple programs that trained her in spiritual growth, gave her tools, mentored her and inspired her to the best version of herself for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Her passion is to pass that knowledge, wisdom and insight on to the next generation.
She says, “All my experiences were God’s gift to me, and NTS is my gift back to Him for each of our students.”
More than just a summer camp
NTS is not a summer camp, but a training program. Don’t mistake that we will have a lot of fun, create beautiful memories, and deepen our relationship with each other! This program is a chance for these girls to put to hands and feet the truth they believe in. We hope that when they come away from this week, they will feel so much more equipped to step into their personal walk with God.
This program builds on itself, very similar to the idea of freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior. The girls can come back every year and go into a deeper level of their discipleship, mentorship, leadership...etc!
What this program offers…
Discipleship
With over 13 sessions that will train, challenge and give hands on work for the girls to develop skills in the area of bible study, prayer, spiritual disciplines, sharing the Gospel, connecting with people….etc, they will walk away with a growth plan for success in their walk with the Lord! Mentorship to come along side them in their growth!
Dance
FPDF is a dance ministry as well as discipleship. We love to dance and that is what brings most of us together! This program will give students, no matter their skill level a great place to learn, express, and enjoy using their gifts, talents and love for dance to worship the Creator of creative expression!
Missions
Our mission in FPDF is to train dancers in worship dance, disciple them and launch them out into the world to be a light! NTS is designed to add a level of missions for the students to pour out into the community, and wherever God leads them to! Students will be trained to lead our KDC summer program!
